i turned on my aircon today and as i was driving i noticed a misty air coming out of it. it wasn't smoke or anything sinister i think. can anyone shine some light on wat it is and is it a problem?

dunno if this should be here or in technial or something, feel free to move it admins

Don't hide your weed in the air con system.
I'd rather walk way from something saying "that was too hard" than walk away saying "that was too easy"

todays air is pretty moist.. in malaysia where the humidity is really really high.. when aircon turns on alot of the type the air comes out misty. its something to do with condensation i think when dry cold air meats warm/hot humid air..

i wont know if its a problem with your aircon or not but i have seen it happen in warmer climate countries.. like when your glasses fog up when you walk out of a cold aircon room and into a warm moist enviroment..

i remember that happening a few times in my commodore and i nearly s*!t myself thinking there was something on fire somewhere but it went away after a few seconds. i havent had it happen in my R and i doubt it is a problem, probably just condensation in the system as wlee2 said.
