Yeah vince.. it's normal to feel that way

When I first test drove a DC2R i had the same curiosity like you... the steering wheel feels heavier compared to my camry. then i found out that that's just the way it suppose to feel and i got used to it and loved it ever since

If you still have a doubt.. test drive another DC2

Isn't it the LSD that creates the heavier feel?

the LSD is suppose to be better in DC5R so its heavier ... more plates

dc5r has bloody heavy steering, but i love it. Makes driving with knees alot easier

hehehe, I never ever noticed that the steering was heavy at all, in fact the 1st time i testdrove a dc2r I was amazed at how great the steering felt in my hands......

Maybe that was because I had been driving around in a 1977 Toyota Landcruiser FJ40 (short wheel base softtop) and that was 2.5tonnes without any power steering....hehehehe

Haha actually i checked again and the other person's name is Rexxxy.

Another questions about the dc2r, is the clutch suppose to stiff as well? I'm reading a review on the car and it said that the clutch was light.

My Stock Clutch was always heavy....but I have a ceramic clutch now, and an ultralite flywheel (3.1kgs), stock flywheel is 9.1kgs.....so mine is very lite now.........

    just a little thought.
the tyres were probably different and different tyre pressure to what you were used to in the civic. This can make a difference
