your car is N/A as is mine and i can understand your need for more POWAH. but i think best way to go would be a engine swap or a N/A tune up. all the fun stuff like cams ,cam gears, ecu and all hte other bits that make your normal N/A car in to a beast of the line. No Turbo = no spooling up. if you get a good set up you can have the POWAH on hand ready to go. kinda like a super charger but with less fuel consuption . if you did go down the road of a bolt on turbo with stock internals running low boost i think you will find in time you may want to up the POWAH, so again that would be more money ontop of the money you spend on the low boost turbo you just bought :P OMG .but yes good luck on what you want and like the guys have said budget above what you are thinking, its a good idea . N/A POWAH

only problem with getting the kit from the states is the manifold, apart from that you can get kits delivered to your door with a T3/4 Turbo for around 1500, then you need cooler + piping aswell as your ecu and tuning. you can do it for 5k on a low boost setup however if you get greedy and wind it up your engine wont last long without the rebuild...

what does getting a kit from the states have to do with the manifold?

I presume you're referring to the ssautochrome kits on ebay out here(which certainly aren't the only turbo kits available out here) that are notorious for having a horrible manifold. Hate to break it to you, but it's not just the manifolds that are known for being crap... it's basically everything it comes with.

no not that one, theres a guy from queensland who puts them together.

the manifolds are for the SOHC engine which as far as i know dont bolt up to the d16a8 DOHC

5g's sound right ot me, ca rtoys in adelaide have a greedy kit for a b18c engine for $4500, i enquired about one for my b16a and was told this kit would work i'd just need to get a custom manifold, kit came with bov, fmic, and greedy e-manage, plus hoses pipes and all that shit

you can buy the b16 greddy(not greedy) turbo kit in the states for $3200ish AU. Can't imagine it'd cost another $1300 to get it there.
