you can't really feel the kick in the k20a3
especially not in the auto
but depends on how hard you plant your foot down, you might feel something at around 4,500rpm or 4,800rpm
if you have a stock car, it's harder to notice
after intake and exhaust, you should "feel" it more
also our engine is the i-Vtec, so it's dependent on how much you depress on the throttle too
there are two kinds of vtec out there i think, the firstis in standardintegras and suck and it changes cam timing at about 300rpm, so the idle is not affected. the second is VTEC with lift which is fitted in all Type R engines where the cams and timing actually change giving you the VTEC ruch at high RPM.
