I thought a VTi-R hatch would already be getting pretty close to DC2R straight line performance?
I mean, with good extractors, exhaust, CAI, bigger TB, intake manifold and a tune it should beat a ITR?

no ithink it would need a few more mods transmission wise etc.

Still , this thread is yonks old.

Its proven - without major mods to a vtir ( both EK or DC variant) they will not beat a type R version of the same car.
