    coilovers leaking?

hi i need to know what the heel is going on with my coilovers, i was just checking my engine bay and i noticed a oily fluid on the top part of my coilovers, it looks like its leaking from the nut at the top of the shock, sorry can't give no pics not a member. but pretty much all shocks have a nut at the mount (i think it holds the shock pretty much together) then a thing or a thread in my case that sticks out of it. i have never played around with the nut, is this normal or should i be worried?

As far as I understand, if the shock is 'leaking' it is one of the signs that it is blown. You should probably get it checked out at a local suspension shop.
See a good post? Give it a PQ point.
