Hmm... i'm still not sure if i should spend $150 on mats, when my dad said you can get pretty decent sets for under $50. Atm saving my money up for the amp + subwoofer... A bit off topic, but are there any Honda experts here who could provide me with details on the Civic 2006 sound system? as in.. the specs, preamp output details, existing speaker specs, etc..?
the sound system is sucks.....the speakers are same as the JAZZ one(i got jazz too)....
are you sure you got it for that much dude? maybe it was some sort of special because you got it at a car show? I really dont think anyone could get 2000 dollars off the recommended price?
There is no special in the car shows, the only special is you got a chance to win a brand new honda jazz....I'm sure you guys can get a better price like me, since I also got a special price on other dealer (highway honda) for $25000 drive away (1 week delivery) (AUTO vti) before I buy the car from car shows. when i ask them to drop down the price a little bit, they said they can drop it down to $24300, but the only thing is you have to wait until the end of April to get the car delivery...that's y i decided to buy it from car shows, it's only $24500 (1 week delivery) (AUTO vti) which is only $200 more than Highway honda but delivery in 1 week time....

I thought it wasn't too bad- but then, none of our cars have really good sound systems anyway. The HU looks nice in the dash though; so I guess I just have to upgrade the speakers and add sw/amp.
not sure weather the headunit has the preamp outs or whatever they're called for an amp. probably a good set of 6" in the back would give it better sound.
all personal preferences buddy and not in the same league. how much were those cars when they came out??? do you not think they were all far to expensive???
