looking at buying a gsi 1994 Prelude

ok people I just sold my 93 Mazda mx6 for $8000 now I am pretty keen on getting a 93-97 gsi Prelude or a 318i BMW or 320i...Got around 9-10k cash to throw around...

Their is this 1994 prelude up for sale with like 90 000 on the clock and its in good condition, yet the only sus thing about it is the seller is like I purchased half the car on my credit card?????? If I get a revs check and its all ok stating no money is owed on the car am I in the clear?

Also are preludes decent cars? how much fuel do they use? and also are the parts chekc for them one of my mates was like "parts are pretty highly price"
Also whats the insurance like ? on my mx6 I had a fair few mods and deep dish rims and it was decent..would ludes be the same? Im on red p's lol...

please help me out as I am keen on buying this car yet I need a lil bit of help, please mods dont close this as I believe its a worthey thread.

    thanks

    dont forget the S model

ludes are very decent cars, on a full tank of vortex98 (60$) i do about 400kms+ on average
insurance should be cheap, im with justcars, pay about 535$ third party and im on my reds

mines an import so parts are a tad harder to get, but parts should be flying around left right and center!
