offset of rims for a start danny boy ~ and coz ur springs are very soft , they will pivot to either side easier , which might be the reason for the premature scraping.

My rims are 15x7 4x100 with an offset of +40. I have 195/50 rubber and its kinda low, but not low enough and it doesnt scrap at all, even while turning. It only scraps when going over speedhumps which is unavoidable and going down steep driveways.

    Stiffen up the suspension

    Raise the car

    Drive diagonally

    Drive slower, let suspension uncompress

    Avoid those areas

Get a higher body kit/smaller exhaust if thats what hits

Hold on. Maybe you need to define scraping.

To me, that means that the car is too low and part of a car is hitting the ground, aka scraping, along when turning/over bumps.

BUT, what you seem to describe is rubbing, which is the tyre rubbing the gaurd.

If you are refering to the 2nd than the first, there is definatly something wrong with only that one side. Either offsets/width combo is no good, the shock is old and allowing too much compression or many other things.

Please just clear up for me, rubbing or scraping?
