    comtec are a really good brand, especially for the price you pay for them.
    you shoul look in JMD concept, one of the traders, to see if you can get abit more info on them if you like. you could prolly send him a pm if you want to know more. im sure he will help you out on whats best to get for your money.
    anyways, best of luck with your upgrades...
    let us know how you go

    take out your resonator, custom your own cold air intake, and keep your std airbox plus changing your std filter to a better ones like KNN.
    take out 2k, change your extractor, catback...This will give you abit more pull outta 2k aud...

    All a Type'R' really needs is to be able to breathe....So Intake, Header & Exhurst.

    After that, You'll want to be able to corner quickly & Stop better. So Next would Suspenion & Brake upgrades.

    Intake = Ingen
    Header = Toda
    Exhurst = Any good JDM. I'm very happy with Vision.

    Just my 2c
    Goodluck.

    AEM intake is also very good one to choose!

    in my opinion, changing the intake does not do much to performance... ur better off spending the money in more noticable mods such as wheels, suspension or exhaust.. changing from stock airbox to pod will probably give you 1kw more and in many cases, you lose power due to too much hot air getting in... i dunno...just my 2c
