    just had an accident with my civic, it decided to sniff this other car's butt . anyway the front bar need to be replaced along with a whole lotta other things. insurance goes standard front bar is about 500ish, i can get an aftermarket on if i want, just have to pay anything extra if its more than 500

    theres this particular bodykit i was after from the states. . . made from polyurethane, its about 1013.00 USD which is roughly 1400-1500AUD. the kit is sold as a whole - front, rear and sideskirts

    is it worth importing the kit?? or get a fiberglass custom made (though im not to fond of fiberglass) or screw the whole idea and go stock

    this is the kit i was after

    Get some shipping prices first.... I imagine after shipping and taxes, it would be quite expensive.....then you've gotta paint the thing....

    allow for around 1/3 in taxes.
    duty = 15%

    looks a bit like ings frontbar but on the civ.... i dont think its worth it, + all the costs that fueltank mentioned, maybe 2000aud in total? and you still gotta pay lik 1000 to paint and fit it :P.... and ur screwed if it doesnt fit properly hahaha....

    i guess you could get a quote on how much it would be custom made here, or check out some local shops before you go buying from the states

    itll cost you 1400 to post it as well, also you can get b/kits cheaper than that from the states.

    try the US ebay and www.allbodykits.com

    theres more but you just need to look around.
