DA9 radiator reservoir always full, problem or normal?

    Hi guys...
my da9 (b18a) radiator reservoir always full (more than the max line), is there something wrong with it, or is it normal. i always check the radiator coolant every week, it seems the coolant went to radiator reservoir and reduce the coolant level in the radiator.

The temp gauge is normal, and there is no sign of leaking. I tried to top up the radiator coolant and left a bit of coolant (min level) on the reservoir. After a week the reservoir is full and coolant in radiator reduce. Is it normal?

ps: sorry if this already covered b4.
    cheers

you shouldnt have to top up your fluid constently if its not leaking
empty out your reservoir to the max level and see how it goes
if you top up your water it will flow into the overflow
sometimes if you turn off your car when its hot or wahtnot it can cause extra flow intot he bottle aswell

It could be a problem with the radiator cap, as the coolant recovery should allow a little bit of overflow into the resevoir, but not too much so a cheap way of eliminating a problem could be to get a new cap!

SKREMN : last time i empty out the reservoir, and the next day it fulls again, i leave it in that condition for couple days until 2-3 days later when the wheather hot (34 degree), then the temp gauge going to the red line. After 2 hours i checked the radiator and its empty and dry. But the reservoir full to the max.
crispy : i also suspect the radiator cap, as i saw the spoon radiator is very nice indeed

you sure its not just the tube in the overflow bottle that goes to the bottom might have come off! sounds simple but it happened to me, just means the coolant is not being pulled back into the radiator.

yeah man... the tube still intact to the overflow bottle cap and it hits the bottom of it.
Before, i thought its the overflow bottle that cause that problem cause there is hole on top of it, but after i get a replacement of it for 15 bux, problem still there. Now i just need to wait for my new radiator cap which should be comin next week. cheers
