the bit of center console that you handbrake sits in

I have broken to clips that hold this bit on. where your ash tray is.

from what i can see you undo two screws near your gearstick.

but my seats dont go far enough back to be able to get access to them.
How do you go about this.

and how can i fix there to clips i have broken.

    superglue them back on?
not being a smart ass... but is that what vtec feels like? turning the aircon off?

Yep, superglue will work. You need to push the seats as far back as they go and get a small philips head. Once they are out it just slides backwards.

While you are there you can install the cupholders that I have for sale in the dash .

Very straight forward. Are the seats still stock? If so, it should be fairly easy to push them in and get to those screws. A very small philips head should be able to get in there.

Let me know if you need pics etc as my car is currently apart.

Yep, should work. You really shouldnt have a problem getting the screws out with a standard (but small) philips head. Just push the seats right back and angle the screwdriver so that it moves onto the head .

As stated, let me know if you need pics.

The front of the seat is probably an inch in front of the screw hole location.
