High mileage cars may be less prone to trouble than very low mileage cars driven around the block once a fortnight by granny. As long as the mileage is genuine and the car has been serviced regularly as specified (including cam-belt changes every 100,000km), then nothing much ever goes wrong with Hondas.
I've had a 1990 Civic clock up almost 190,000km without any trouble, and our current 1997 Accord VTi-S is close to 180,000km and has needed only a new exhaust manifold and its radiator tank seams repaired. If I was looking for a 1997 Honda Accord, I'd buy mine.
