    haha 3 hours for a tow truck lol it sucked, any way guys i need a 100% answer here i have found a jap da9 front cut at a wreckers with v tech engine, can anyone tell me if the gear box from this one will bolt up to my ls engine ect thanks, if this is a no go ill contact you LO_N_SXC

    no it wont, as i am assuming u have a d-series engine.

    so the gear box from jap v tech da9's deffintly dont bolt up? can you modify them to fit at all? i really need to know cos its a full rebuild for a good price.

    it will bolt up no worries the only thign is its got different ratios
    just get one if its cheap

    hmm.. well my gearbox leaked once too.. but turned out nothing.. the problem was i overfilled the fluid a lil bit and when running under high pressure.. its seeped out between at the bottom just between the box and block... but turned out all good..
    ..VTEC YO!..

    he knows a wrecking yard in melbourne with a gear box, cos no one in adelaide has one, i need to contact him to get the name and number of this place so i can get a gear box sent to adelaide
