    Why can't it be legally be fitted in Oz. There's been many crazy conversion in Oz and they're driving on the streets eg. H22a EK civic

    engine cannot be older then the chassie itself, b series engine are older den jazz so it cannot be fitted legally unless you have a shifty engineer to write you a cert or something

    the 2j is still a current motor though. was in supras until 98. I guess it would be borderline on how old the IS200's are, that would be a cool mod though.

    From what I am aware of...You can fit an older engine into a new chassis. You just have to do an emissions test for the year which the chassis was built. I passed with RTA (NSW) with my engine conversion.

    thought supras came out until the end with 2j's, they went until 2002 or 2001... & you cant import the newer supras because they dont pass the emissions test...

    i've seen in one of the BMI vids of Mugen having a jazz with a
    K20A in it.
