Have you been working on the engine lately?

Check for vacuum hoses which may have come off, all those sorts of little things that you might not have checked or thought about

it's entirely possible that damage caused by the fmu is finally starting to show its face

mmm possibly something with the fmc, but the way i see it, it either is working or it isnt i dont see how it can "show its face" so to speak. I will however check all vacume lines etc though,

anymore suggestions on things i can try, replace, etc etc?

it sounds like the microtech isnt controlling the IACV properly. if u want a bandaid fix, up the idle at the TB screw.

incorrect fueling/timing caused by the set up can lead to damage to the piston rings, causing a drop in compression... would lead to response problems/smoking/lots of other fun stuff...

just an example of how it can start to "show its face"
