    I seen them around ages
but don't know if they really have that much of an impact on oil cooling.

What is the point of this. Oil filter on a jazz already has heaps of air flow going over it.

The point is to let the heat transfer from the filter to the heatsink, it's like the CPU heatsink idea.

Today i saw the AC fan which is near the oil filter, so if we install the Collar then it will work fine, as the air from the fan will cool it better.

I can see this idea working, but would be unsure of the results.

Would be a cheap mod to do.

if anything i can see this preventing proper cooling of the oil filter...the outer "heat sink jacket"is covering the oil filter itself and possibly will prematurely heat it up anyway.

Wrong sir, it's like the CPU heatsink it transfer the heat from the CPU to the heatsink, and the old CPU had heatsink without fan, if what you said is true why theu didn't just leave the CPU without the heatsink, if you look it's the same idea, and I think it will work better in our car, as the AC fan blows some air to the filter, so this way it will cool the collar faster and better, and like I said before have a read a review of a guy has done it in his Ford truck, and his temp of the oil went down but not like if it was a oil cooler but better than nothing.

yeah but it still would not reduce enough heat to make it worth while. But better than nothing i guess. If you need better cooling get an oil cooler
