Civic Key

Hi guys, i need some advice..
I have a 96 Honda Civic and my key has lost the rubber protector bit surrounding the imobilizer chip. Is it possible to get this replaced?
Has this happened to anyone else?? thanks in advance

Its a VTI coupe.. mine's rubber, i also have a spare key which is plastic bit, but there's no imobilizer chip

unfortunately the rubber bit cannot be replaced on its own... youll need to have a new key issued

that will be pretty expensive.. crap

1. key
2. cutting
3. programming of ECU chip

unless you can find a key from a wreck perhaps? get the rubber bit off it...
