    clutches..

    anybody know the price of a EXEDY heavy dutie clutch for? for an eg civic si 1992 model ? any help

    u will be looking for around $350 for Exedy HD clutch set ....and then all depends on where you get it done.. expect to arond 300+ for labour

    if u are after a flywheel/exedy clutch combo for the Si - you know where i am

    Anyway , the goign rate for the HD kit for your car seems to be about the $300 mark...

    price difference is quite different to B series clutch, i would have thought it was similar, ie ~$450 + labor.

    Anyway, ben can hook you up with the clutch/ flywheel (please spend the extra and get a lightened flywheel, you'll love it)

    and talk to destrukshn about the labor, you'll get out of it alot cheaper

    Tis true, in the sense that Exedy own Daikin
    But the clutches, I'm pretty sure. Are not the same.

    Exedy being the performance range. I think they still cater for other applications using the Daikin label.

    yes all exedy clutches are badged with Daikin, but your right, Exedy is the performance side of things. Daikin also make clutches for Toda.

    Actually Daikin owns Exedy, you got it the wrong way round.

    yeah did my clutch like a week ago was an Si too. managed to get whole thing done for under 200 DIYed. Used exedy ...dun think was heavy duty but yeah. i got quoted oem for 475 including machining and like 580 for heavy duty. Price include labor and full new bearings and machined fly and fluids n stuff.
