Basically with a front cut u'll should get everything needed.
Please note that alot of misc parts needs to be replace like timing belt, water pump, clutch etc etc. Apart from that the front cut should ahve things u need like gearbox, wiring, etc.
Best of luck mate

dont forget the b-series shift linkage
-
thnkas for that,
but like what should u expect to get in the fr0nt cut?
and roughly waht should it cost to replace those bits and pieces?

this would be the basics you would need to do the conversion
engine,
gbox,
engine side wiring loom,
ecu,
shiftlinkage,
with b16a inner CV ?

It just depends on the condition of the engine you get. You can't just ask these vague questions and expect a definite answer. When you say half cut, it's literaly everything from the firewall forward + linkages.

Did mine 2 yrs ago,
I've got a GL EG, and was dual crab, I had to get a fuel pump (BOSCH one, cost me $220).
apart from the fuel pump, i bought :-
Parts
-timing belt from HONDA $80
-Exedy heavy duty clutch kit aournd $500 (fogot)
-rear disc brake conversion $200
-NGK Iridium spark plugs $65
-engine flush, oil, filter, fuel filter, coolant, brake fluid, around $100
These are just stuff I did with the front cut, all depends on the conditions of your front cut.
-drive shaft re-built $60 each
-new brake pads front and rear
-machined flywheel, and all 4 disc
Apart from all of those stuff I did/bought, I've putted everything front the front cut to mine. (dash, ecu, wire/loom, steering rack, control arms,..etc)
Good luck with the conversion!~

if your car is an EFI, y ou dun really need to get the fuel pump.
inner CVs .... I didn't change, coz if you get a EG front cut and convert to your EG, it should fit without any problems,... just check for cracks on the rubbers and barrings... best to get it re-con, coz you never know where the engine being to.
-
efi and vti already.... would only save you on the fuel pump part.
Wiring,.. you would need to change, would not cost you alot more, coz your front cut should have all the wires/loom needed.
Fit all the stuff you have from your front cut. And everything shuold be fine.
-
yehh its just that im not sur whats gona cum with the front cut... its from an EM1 and i dont think everything i need will be there and i dont want to really have the hassel of chasing parts as i dont really have the time or money haha

Green block gangster
Array
EM1 will be OBDII your EG is OBDI.
you will have to solder in the OBDII connectors to yoru loom.
most your loom is ready for the B16A2,
but you will have to run a wire for the
- knock
- O2 heater
- power stearing pressure switch.
no need to replace the water pump unless its faulty. same with the cluch. all depends on the condition of the goddies you get
timming belt and all fluids is a must.
