Whiteline Rear Sway for EK

Hey Guys,

I'm not sure if the question has been asked/answered yet i had a quick read around but couldn't really find out what i was after so yeah ..

anyways just got a few quick questions ..

I've got an EK1 and wanting to get a REAR sway bar from whiteline. Would anyone know the model/part number i need the linkages and mounts too ..

Also i know that they come in 18, 20 and 22mm .. if i had a front sway of 20mm what would be a good size for the rear?

Re: part numbers. Speak with Trav (egSi) as he will be able to tell you. I am pretty sure that the swaybars come with all mounting hardware and endlinks - so you just order in a lot . . . . Trav should be able to sort you out with that.

In regards to sizing, most people will say dont go to a 22mm without subframe reinforcement (check the asr thread). Bars in the US have be known to completely rip the subframe out when using a 22mm. That being said, the whiteline mounting kit appears to be significantly better to the mounts that they get overseas. You could easily go for something smaller however.

get the adjustable 18mm to 22mm.
I've got mine currently set to 22mm no ripping or anything it actually handles very well.

pretty much correct
For EG/DC anyway ~ the types (made by whiteline) are 18mm fixed , 20mm and 20/22mm adjustable afaik

you cant have a 18 to 22mm adjsutable or even 20 to 22 adjustable..

the size refer to the diameter of the swaybar.

adjustability is made by having longer or shorter runners at the end of the swaybars.

i think they jsut made up a new metric for measurement....

I would not run around telling people i have a 18 or 20 mm sway bar on my car when it is 22mm in diameter..

i had mine order from EGSI to be 18-22 mm i had to wait a few weeks for it.

The adjustment comes from the link arm depending on how you set it up.
