    Yes it does, 5% ethanol. Honda says it is ok for cars built after 2002.

    Your engine will run fine. It's just that the seals that Honda used before 2002 is not guaranteed to be ethanol compatible. Maybe Honda is just trying to play it safe by stating 2002 instead of older (I'm sure the 2001 and 2002 DC5R are identical). But hey, my car doesn't need 100 octane. It's not tuned for it.

    i use 100 too, car goes just the tinny bit harder and seems to scream louder, espcially on a cold night hehe love it !

    up to 10% is fine

    u will see a 'E10' (ethanol 10% ok) on the inside of most petrol doors on most of hondas current range
