    Climate control MY06 Euro

    Hi,

I have a 3 week old Euro sport and have noticed that when I press the "off" button, that fresh air is still able to flow through the centre face vents when the vehicle is moving. Is this normal? It stops when I press the recirc button. I thought that off truly meant off!

it means the air con parts arent working, but you can vent the air in when you drive, which is what most people do to save on petrol lol

i do it haha ... if you have the aircon sucking air from the outside into the car then even if its off and you drive you will still have air coming in (hot/cold depending on you thermostat settings)

if you have it set to recyle the air inside the car then you wont have that problem hope it answers your question...

thats noraml on all car... as the car moves it ll still directs air in .. but when u press recir buttom... the shutter taht directs air in ll shut off.. hence only allow air to flow thru in the car. and as there isnt much air movement inside the car. u wont feel any air coming out. so air movement is only noticeable when u tuen on the fan... hope this ans ur Q

Yeah the OFF button only turns off the Climate Control.

When its off, it acts like a normal air system.

When you press off and leave the thermostat at a temperature that is close to the cabin temperature, you can hear the vent switching back and forth between hot and cold!
