    thermostat O ring position

hi guys im just putting in a new thermostat, oem of course, and it comes with a new o ring, but im not sure which side to put it on, both joins are metal on metal around the thermostat so i wouldve thought 2 o rings required.

    thanks

yeah i figured it out eventually, it goes on the opposite side to the hose, there are two bit sticking out of the o ring which line up with part of the housing

    cheers though

The rubber goes around the therm not under it. It should have a slit all the way around and only fit 1 way.
