Hi mate, not sure how a prelude works and whether your foglights are originals...however, generally, if you pust the light-stick towards you, you'll her a small clicking sound and this should switch to foglight mode and your secondary fog lights should automatically switch on...

If you had them custom-fitted - bring back to the place that fitted it...otherwise if original and they don't work, try asking for assistance from your dealership!

    No worries mate...

Best bet is to bring it back to the dealership or the place that you've bought them from - I would avoid backyard jobs where possible.

    what year model?

    if theyre oem,
4TH GEN (92-96) there should be a button located on the centre console near the handbrake.. the symbol on the button is a semi-circle with 3 squiggly lines

    hope that helps at all

Are you sure that you're talking about fog lights only and not the high beams?
Generally pushing or pulling the light switch stalk is used to activate the high beams.

I'm not that knowledgable with preludes but i'd guess that there's a button.

You do have a point mate, and I too don't have a Prelude.

However, my friend's prelude has this function - don't know if it's a standard thing, but I've seen him do it hence the suggestion. But like you, I am not 100% sure!

waaaaaa????? stop listening to anyone without a prelude NOW!!!

    wtf is going on here?

are they JDM foglights??? (please see pic of my car below, JDM fogs look like the indicators above them)

if these are indeed what he has, the switch looks just like the three on the right of the steering wheel in the dash kinda (the cruise switch, dimmer and sunroof controll) , since the AUDM lude did not have the JDM fogs in mind u usually have to replace one of these three buttoms with the fog button, usually the dimmer controll is chosen.

there is no pulling/pushing/proding/probing of any light switch thing as stated above ect.

the lude uses the BUTTON!! find this button lol.

if they are an aftermarket autobarn junk then they will probly be wired in differently, no fuses or relays used so itll prob be wired so they just turn on when u turn ur headlights/parkers on.

get me a pic and ill tell u wat to do....

only one of its kind in AUS
took alot of cash, and alot of sourcing lol. so yeah its a secret, 2 more just for u :P

as for this foglight question, show me a pic of what he has, if its JDM or USDM fogs the switch will be either in one of those three spots or behind them. if they are el cheapo autobarn then i cant really help u
if he knows where the switch is but they wont turn on, could be a blown fuse?
