    Need Advice NEED SUMP FOR ED

    Ok guys mechanice rang me either i have a ~$500 repair to my sump plug or fork out ~$600 for a new one from honda both include labour.


    My sump plug has been retapped a few times i nthe past ans the plug gettign bigger now its atthe stage where we need to pull the sump off and either replace or machine an insert and brasie it in.

    Engine: D15B4 I think

    hmmm..i used to ahve a spare, but i chucked it...lol...go to honbits, get a second hand one....

    looks like ill prob go with a new one gotta do it tomororow need the car for work and goign to wagga very soon just want to do it right the first time no worries

    look at another mechanic

    helicoil is only $100 max,

    its really not that expensive
