As for your car you need a fire extingusher mounted somewhere in reach, the car needs to be in good condition, and you need to wear a helmet + woolen clothing. Bonnet needs to be strapped down too to make sure it doesn't fly open. I think thats about it

But the rest is up to you as to what tyres, brakes, suspension and all that you run. I have friends who have run fully stock cars before. But you might want to look at getting some good higher temp brake pads.
