    its only just been happenign the past week or so, but when i take off in 1st, or from a still position i can feel like something is tapping on my accelerator pedal (i can feel it in my foot)... never heard of anything like this befor?

    anyone know whats going on?

    Tapping? As in your car is lurching forward/hopping even though you are not on the throttle? At low revs?

    no no no... my car takes off smoothly, okay try imagine this!

    imagine there is a metal ball tied to your pedal, so as you push it you feel it dragging, so you getting this feeling as if something is tapping the back of your pedal with a stick or something... :roll:

    thats like the oppisite reaction to ABS.....

    when ur ABS kicks in....(while ur braking, obviously) u get this sensation like something is tapping against the bottum of ur foot.....

    but ive never heard of this whilst on the throttle???
    when do we hit vtec?

    no matter how i take off, the tapping is still there!
