    changing seats? disable airbag?

    hi,

a friend of mine would like to swap over his euro leather seats with my friend's standard cloth seats
we were thinking just take the bolts off, take them off and swap them over. Is there anything we should be aware of?
Do we need to disable the front seats airbag?

door trims will also be swapped over

lol I was thinking of doing the same, the euro's standard seats lack front height adjustability and the lower back rest is too bulky.

If you disconnect the car battery, the SRS system should be ok.

Not sure if its a simple swap. I assume it is bolt-wise but you may need an extra power cable for the electric seat positioning controls.

Someone with the workshop manual can help as it covers seat removal.
