    oil temp

    hey guys i was jus wandeing wat the correct oil temp should be on dc2 type-r? cause my car is takin a long time to warm up. is the genuine honda oil any good to use? thanks

    honda oil is shit try motul oil

    do you have an oil temp guage?
    it used to take my car at least 10 mins to get the oil warm

    yeah, the temp takes a while to warm up especially in cold days.
    mine warm up till almost 100 degree c

    i got an oil cooler ands its goes up to 100 deg at max

    Check your thermostat. It might have failed. Honda thermostats fail open.

    Before I got an oil cooler and aftermarket fanswitch/thermostat, my oil temp takes 5 minutes to warm up and reach to 80. Now, it takes 20 minutes to get to 70.
