    Guys, just wanting your opinions on the Dc2R in cold conditons!
    Is it consderably slower than in a hotter weather or is my mind playin tricks with me again? lolz

    Mine doesn't feel slower for sure..

    might sound like a silly question but did you look to see if the car's temp gauge was half way. i.e operating temp?

    Im loving the cold nights!!!! My R runs a lot better and even sounds better.

    also, vtec does not kick in until the engine has warmed up.

    definitely better in cold temp.... i can revv past 10 LOL.... though i have only done this once.... not good for the car

    yeah ANY VTEC engine will not operate VTEC solenoid OR Fuel and Timing MAPS untill you are at operating temp.

    you SHOULD be getting a fair bit more power with colder air temps.. for every 3 degrees drop in air temp, you get 1HP power increase or something like that I read somewhere.. but you can REALLY notice it under your foot - plus VTEC 'noise' should be louder and more defined.
