Use ONLY honda coolant. It's different from the other brands of coolants. According to the service manual, other coolants can cause the cooling system to corrode. Since it is also premixed, don't add water.

    Honda All Season Antifreeze/Coolant Type 2 (P/N OL999-9001)

I just purchased the Honda 5 liter blue coloured coolant, and went to top up my coolant tank and found that at my last service the Honda Dealer replaced my coolant with a GREEN coloured coolant.
This green stuff was installed when they did a warrantee repair of a timing belt idler bearing.
Does anybody know if I can mix the green and the blue coolant together or has the dealer just put in the cheaper green coolant because they were paying.

If you are topping up, you only 1L though... how come you bought 5L?
It is ok to mix if it is the old green Honda coolant like others said.

I've seen a quite a few Honda engines with corrosion from using wrong coolant. Having said that, many aftermarket coolants being sold today are compatible with Honda's coolant, unlike 10 years ago.

Also, if you already have Honda coolant in there and don't need to flush, then you're better off using Honda coolant to top up and not use a different brand. If you want to drain all the coolant, feel free to use another brand. Just choose the correct type to avoid water pump corrosion.
