Is the chassis Ok? Looks like you were aiming to hit that bus? Cause you hit it pretty much right down the middle! Is there any problems with doors opening or closing, kinks in the roof etc? If not then she might be repairable! Strip it down, throw her on a 'robot' to straighten her up a bit and then source some new panels, and then throw everything back on!
(while your at it, maybe seam weld her up a bit?)

ps: oh and btw setanta, I'm coming over. So get ready for a slappin...
(tsk tsk....such a nice car and you BEND it?!?!)

I finally got around to getting the bonnet off last weekend to take a proper look. The engine has been pushed back bending the mounting points on the chassis and the passenger side bay is twisted.

I won't be parting her out - I don't want a garage full of unwanted parts. Most likely I will be tracking down a rolling ED6 chassis with sunroof and a B20 block (B16A has popped a main seal in the crash) and doing a slow steady hybrid as a memorial.

Although, the little GTi I'm driving around at the moment is so much fun that I might put the complete EF9 up for sale - but with the 100% JDM interior an 90% exterior plus all running gear - the temptation is strong to make it a project.
