    Simota Air Intake

Looking to buy a cold air intake for my 97 Integra VTi-R and was wondering if anyone could recommended me with a particular model or brand.

I've been hearing more about simota lately and they're just in nudawading which is close for me.

Im not sure if i should go down and pick one up yet cause some people telling me there great and others are like stay clear of simota cause it's cheap !$@*

I'd like some of you to set the record straight about simota and also help in some decision making as to a cold air intake for my car. If simotas not the way to go then what is k&n or AEM and where abouts to purchase in Melbourne.

    Thanks Guys.

well i purchased the injen CAI from Shift Performance here in Sydney, but obviously there is a wait for it as they have to ship it in from the U.S.. its costing me all up $550

I'd also assume it would be cheaper for a dc2

If the Simota is cheap, make sure it has all the plumbing for your sensors and tubes. The Simota is also a short ram intake (SRI). You don't get as much top end peak power as a cold air intake (CAI).

Check the number of bends. The more rounded the bends, the better. Check the inner diameter of the tube. Make sure the tube is mandrel bent. Make sure all the ports for existing sensors are on the tube. And finally, make sure the filter is a good one.
