    rough auto shifting help

    i got this problem in my ej8 and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem aswell in the past? and what did you do to fix it? can u just take it to a mechanic and get it sorted? its rough shifting thru all the gears unless im light on the throttle.

    the at kick down cable might need adjusting.

    perhaps an AT oil change

    yeah, try what ecu man said.. AT change if u havent done it in a while. and just on the same note.. have you been thrashing the car with gear 1,2 D etc?

    i had the same problem with my commonwhore b4.. it was on the way out.. so i just got it replaced

    check the level of the ATF but yeah as above a autobox oil change is the way to go before spending too much money on it.

    yeah checked the levels of the ATF they are within acceptable ranges. i might change the fluid though just to see if it helps. but i never try to shift manually through the gears. its just D4 and shifts thru the gears

    definately sounds like a lack of transmission fluid (ATF). At work when cars lack fluid damn it is rough through the gears.. feels as though you are revving in neutral and then it kicks into gear sometimes.

    Definately need to have it checked, auto gearbox's can mess up real quick if they have no fluid, definately dont want a lack of it. Have you checked if you have any leaks underneath??
