in Vic we can get our L plates when we're 16, mean full licenced driver has to be sitting next to u at all times, and we can only get our P plates once we turn 18
:O 18 years old that sux. hear in qld its l's @ 16.5 and p's at 17. but i believe next year things are changing
Damnz 18 to get your P'z adels same as brisse but we got some new P1 P2 rule, im on my P1's atm, but yeah I drive my EK everywhere(by my self) =D lol. Nice civic btw, pity the wait.

Umm yeah, not 100% sure but like on highways where the speed limit is 100km and 110km etc, P platers are only allowed to go to 90km.
Oh and btw adels rules and brissie are a bit different (my bad for saying they the same). We can get our L's at 16 and after 6 months we can get our P's, therefore you can be on your P's at 16.5 in adel.Plus we dont have any restrictions of cars that P platers can drive, e.g you can be on your P's driving turbos, and V8s etc.
Yeh, they're bringing the P1 P2 system in. Not 100% sure what the difference is though, see vicroads site. Anyway, it motivated me to get my Ps quicker, so I'm not bounded by those rules...come into effect in July 07 I think.
And nope, there are no speed restrictions for L/P plated drivers in Vic, but there are vehicle restrictions.
