Wheel question

hey guys

i'm thinking of purchasing a new euro lux. and wanna get some 18 x 7.5 for them...fave wheel at the moment is racinghart type cx...5 spoke with a 2in lip

whats the best offset to get so wheels finish flush with the body? also what sussy to use to get a drop this low? see pic...

Should be in noob forum

But if its a 7.5 width, and stock offset is 55, you'd be safe to stick with anything from around 45 to 50. A tried and proven offset is +48. Anythign lower than 45 and you MAY have rubbing issues with lowering.

As for hosting pics, you have to host the pic online first, then hyperlink that pic from the online source, not from your HDD.

+48 protrudes less by 5mm.

I have 19X8 48 Offset and it sitting a finger over the front and half on the rear tyre at the back and no rubbing or lipped gaurds. It has a vicious camber on the rear once lowered. Would post pics but haven't looked up how 2.

Nah shouldn't. I have 18x7.5 +42 and its pretty flush.

7.5" with a 43offset will be quite flush with the guard and should have minimal to no rubbing with a substantial drop.

I have 17x8" with a +42 offset and IMO this is the VERY limit of width and offset you should run on a euro if you plan to or have lowered the car. With a 2" drop on my car I have minimal rubbing but on large bumps and sharp hills I'll get the slightest rubbing sound at the front... you can run more aggressive widths and offsets if you're willing to sacrifice tyres by using a more aggressive camber.

the tyre with 8" and +42 is perfectly flush with the guard, if anything it proturdes 1-2mm with 0 degree camger

I'm finding out bout a camber kit for the front and hoping to set it at 1.5-2 degrees negative camber to eliminate rubbing completely.
