Well for peace of mind driving past c0ps on the road, it may be worth while reverting back to Halogens and sell the HID's on ebay. You dont want to get defected and lose points.

Although the euro's come with HID so you have an advantage there. If you at least get the washers and avoid blue HID's, you may be fine.

The philips bluevisions are actually quite similar to HID's, except they are not as bright off course

try using european sylvania silverstars instead of HID kits. Also it will be extremely hard for you to install an auto leveling system as it requires sensors on the front and back of your car and an motor in your headlights. I really do not see the point of HID kits other than to blind on-coming traffic , if you really want proper lighting that lights up the road infront of you rather than in peoples faces, do a retrofit, have a look at this video:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcX63...search=Hidding

see how the left side is putting more light on the road and the HID kit on the right is glaring like hell ?
visit www.hidplanet.com/forums for more info on retrofits

    Hi rhath127,

Just wondering if you have any shots of your Headlight cut offs with your HIDs that you could post up. Is it sharp? Any glare?

I was thinking about getting HID too, but its too much hassle. Got some Philips BlueVisions instead, close enuf to HID
Honda will not install the auto levelers and washer to standard euro, I've already asked when I first got my car and was thinking to get HID for my headlight. It is illegal in oz to drive car with HID without auto leveler and headlight washer. so just becareful.

most cops are stupid anyway and won't know about the washer thing on the euro...most ppl think that HIDs come standard on the euros..

unless u're driving like an integra / civic / etc then it's more likely u'll get defected...

that REALLY does not look like a 4300k kit...

granted, it sounds like a cheap hid kit, so you never know... most of those kits have no standards of testing color, so chances are that even though they say its 4300k, it's very likely not(as that looks NOTHING like 4300k)

The audi lights are 4300k as well, they just pick up some blue at the cut off as a result of the projectors. The light emitted all the time is the same color as nearly every other oem hid set up, the blue is just a little section that you get from the optics bending the light output.
