    yeah i think you'll find a ZC in good running order will have more torque low down than a B16A. this is due to the 90mm stroke as opposed to the 77mm stroke of the B16A. even peak torque of the B16A is only a couple more Nm over the ZC
    however the higher compression of the B16A gives it better response. plus the shorter ratios tend to have you sitting higher in the rev range more often.
