Chances of paint cracking when rolling guards?

At the moment with my 16 x 6.5 40+ offset the sit prety much inline with the guards and if i put 1 person in the back or corner hard it scrubs. or if i have me passanger and two people in teh back the guards is practicly on the tyres. half a finger gap.

Is there a good c hance of my paint crackign when rolling guards or would it be much easyer to sell of the wheels and find somthing else?

as im going to look into some coilover in a few months time. so i want to be bale to lower it without the drama of scrubage

I wasnt 100% selling it was just putting it up to see if there were any offers. if i got hte price i wanted i would of sold it.

But now I figured I am going to finish the car ( get exhaust and look into lowering it a tad more) drive it around untill im 20 then get somthing new.

BAck to the question. so there is a good chance that it may crack. and its odd that im geting scrubage wit ha 40+ and 6.5

if it is done properly, you have to "cut" along the bottom of the guard where it would have cracked and pait over it. This would be only at the very bottom, and cutting along the guard will prevent the cracks from spreading. then go over that part with some paint

the paint cracking is pretty much guarenteed, just depends on how long till it does.

^^ thats why you have to cut along the bottom; before the cracks spread
