Thread: Power Windows

    Hey guys, hows everyone going??

    Was wondering how to fix noisy power windows.
    Could i do it my self, or would i have to 2 take my car to an auto electrician?

    BTW i own an Ek hatchback.

    wen i put the windows up or down the motors sound as rough as guts

    try silicon spray on the inside of the rubber seals.
    That will fix the problem as alot of the sound is the engine trying too hard to get the glass up.

    My windows make a bit of noise, but nothing a bi of lube on the window runners wouldnt fix i doubt.

    Is it both windows or just the one? Has one of them been replaced at any stage?

    Sounds like the motor might be dying

    Auto Electrician is your best bet. Honda will probable (maybe) have seen the problem more often. Lube up the windows first and see what that does

    just incase you didn't know.
    don't use WD-40 to lube it up, it will dry out the rubber seals

    damn this problem seems to occur alot in civics, my frends ek hatch, and now mine is starting to have this prob.>! fark... so annoying >.<
