Thread: should i...?

  1. #1
ohk im about to sell my commy and buy a civic,
there are two options ive been considering at the moment
    1. Buy a 92 Si Sedan for around 8g's
    add exhaust, headers etc
    2. Go all out and buy this vti-R that ive been looking at, black 97 hatch, 120000kms, reaaal nice, $15000. then eventually mod it when im not in so much debt

in your opinions - which is better bang for buck?

just for reference i want the vti-r, but at almost twice as much is it worth it?

If you can actually just afford it, and the car is indeed in good condition, go the VTiR. Not just for the "better engine" and increased power/handling/comfort, but also because it's a newer vehicle. Good luck.

In the end it comes down to whether or not you want to be in debt for however long it is going to take you to pay the car back.

    You could do this..

Buy the 92 Honda, Spend 7 grand on mods and be in the same amount of debt with a more 'modded' car.

Or buy the Ek model, which is a very nice car and do whatever.

As I said, depends on how much debt you want to be in. Take both cars for a drive (if you havn't already) and see which one you prefer.
