DA9 - Bearings and hub assembly help

hey guys need a lil help here
last week i was notified my car couldnt b dynoed coz the front bearings were in pretty shit condition.
calling up honda, they informed said that bearings rnt sold on there own, and that i gotta buy the whole hub assembly.
    $265 a piece + 4hrs of labour = $800 i dont have.
so i hit the wreckers, and found a pair for 150... but who knows wat kind of condition the bearings r in.
so i figured since my car is gonna b off the road for the next 6 weeks, is it possible to fit the hub assembly from say a dc2, eg or dc2r (for a 5lug conversion). any fittin problems associated? any advantages?
also, my dad mentioned somethin about the bearings having to b pressed, as opposed 2 the normal type if i chose 2 stick with the same my current hubs. wat does that mean? n wat does it involve?
    cheers

all bearings have to be pressed
easiter to get a hub assy, that way you can do it yourself.
do not buy bearings from wreckers, because when it sits there for a while, they fock up

If you don't have a press, bearing puller and a good set of circlip pliers your stuffed. As said before don't waste your time with a second hand one.
