Who said the Euro (manual) isnt a performance car? 7.7sec (7 flat if u power shift) is respectable, and easily beats the MX5 and RX8 auto, plus its almost as good as the wrx around corners according to the Wheels Mag comparo. Plus its a lux car so u have the best of both worlds

Thats what makes it a good all round car.Particularly as a daily driver it's very easy to live with.

I was in this situation a couple of weeks ago - could have gone another euro but i went for a vw polo gti with leather instead...

Paint / panel quality isn't quite as good as the euro but the interor fit and quality is The seats in the gti are to die for Plus having a turbo is an advantage hehe

Interesting you went for the Polo rather than the Golf GTi. How's the performance in the Polo?? According to Motor is only does 0-100km/h in 8.58s. But I guess it will demolish the Euro around the corners
