There you go, reinforcing my point even more. If they can fit the brembos under 15" rims that's even better!

Though I swear they came in 16" in the later years... with 205/45/16 tyres...

bungsai, thanks. I've seen that thread, but it seems to focus more on tyre brand rather than rim and tyre size. I wanted Integra specific info too.

I'd love the late model Type R size 215/40R16 tyres as it'd give me quite a bit more rubber on the road. I find that without an LSD, 195 really isn't anywhere near enough. Unfortunatly I can't fit an LSD (yet) due to my warranty.

I also can't change the suspension, which would be nice 'cuz then I'd just get lower, slightly stiffer springs with stronger dampers and I'd be happy. But I like the safety of knowing if anything brakes, the warranty will cover it. So far I've had the clutch, master and slave cylender, thermostat, and temp sender all changed under warranty. So the warranty has actualy more than payed for itself... I'm sure the warranty company isn't too happy about that.

Anyway, here's a list of tyres with relatve percentage difference in rolling diameter and radial tyre profile size (rtp):

195/55R15 - rtp: 107.25mm - 100.00%
205/50R15 - rtp: 102.5mm - 98.40%
215/50R15 - rtp: 107.5mm - 100.08%
205/45R16 - rtp: 92.25mm - 99.23%
215/45R16 - rtp: 96.75mm - 100.74%
225/40R16 - rtp: 90mm - 98.47%
205/40R17 - rtp: 82mm - 100.05%
215/40R17 - rtp: 86mm - 101.39%
225/35R17 - rtp: 78.75mm - 98.96%

Unfortunatly, some of those are hard if not impossible to get (for example, the 215/40R16s).

Another problem I'm having is finding rims... they're all very expensive. (I need money for my AE86 too!)

ive got 204 50 15 inch Azenis semi slicks on my OEM itr rims. Very nice, but they are a bit wide for the rimss, so there is a very slight sloppiness in response on initial turn in, but once it grabs its unfalable...

BUT i would like some 16's, depending on the width, which in that size is usually 7inch, 205's will be fine mate, you wont lose response that way, plus theres a lot more range available

this is what id do, plus 205's will fit perfectly on the JDM ITR rims

yo Zilli , depends on which year of JDM ITR rims ( 96 Spec or 98 Spec )

the OEM rim size of JDM 96 Spec is 15 x 6J only , the tyre will come out and looks like Drag race tyre if u put a 205 size into it...

try to think about what Zilli is saying from his point of view.

He has a AUSDM DC2R.. therefore:
-He has 5 studs (5 x 114.3)
-JDM DC2R 96 SPEC = 4 stud (4 x 114.3)
-So why would he want a 96 SPEC ITR rim??

-THEREFORE he is talking about the 98 SPEC ITR rim (not the 96 SPEC ITR rim) which he claims to be perfect for a 205 width.

now to my question! anyone got any scrubbing issues with 205/55R15 on a AUSDM 15" ITR rim? Just to be sure..

I've got 215/35/18 on my VTi-R with . They look good... but you can throw comfort out the window due to the low profile tyres.
