Def check your wiring then,a lot of dodgy wiring gets done on swaps,especially the wires u gotta add like vtec solenoid. Check its continuous back to ecu pin A4(ie unbroken),with plugs disconnected from solenoid & ecu. Then make sure its not continuous to ground(ie not shorted to ground)
