    ..and when the battery goes flat due to a bad alternator while driving, or the electric brake motor or fuse fail, you cant stop the car.


    There should always be a direct mechanical link between the driver and the Steering and Brakes...

    Hope this system has a mechanical safety backup

    exactly! i think cars will rely too much on electronics on a car in the future, but what happens when it fails..? the whole car does

    definately needs some sort of backup system, maybe an extra belt of something to power it

    and the winner for most effective and reliable braking system used for the last gazillion years goes to hydraulic brakes
