    anyone know how much it cost to replace a DC2R engine?

    anyone know how much it cost to replace a DC2R engine?
    eg..labour and the cost of the parts.

    as in a entire new one from honda ? Or reuild one etc ?

    How about you help this vauge thread with info...IE what is the damage ? k's ? etc

    just in case my engine blows up...needed replacement..

    pick up a B18C7 for around $6-7gs i would think
    not sure on labour costs thou

    i would budget $10000, for hidden nasties

    if its just the engine you could probably find it cheaper

    but they are a very popular engine to buy from a wrecker

    if is just an engine replacement u can easily get it done for less than $4g, thats with the labour which is only a few hours of easy work...

    $1500-$2000 for Rob at Hanny's to rebuild with new seals and rings as long as no parts are broken. Good as new
