Pretty damn quick is all I can say! I had trouble keeping in front of one when a we accidentally hard launched at some lights - the things have my respect and if we hadn't have backed off I know it would have well and truly got in front. :?

Hey guys, I'm a newbie so you'll have to forgive me.
I do however work at a Honda Dealership(not why I am on here though.. not trying to poach business.. ) so therefore know a fair bit about the MDX, and you're right, it's awesome.
Quieter than the CRV, which figures due to the wheelbase length, the MDX is however aimed at the luxury market, as was pointed out early in this thread.
Features include heated seats - high & low - that also heats the drivers back and bum, 4 airbags, 6 stacker in the dash, leather interior standard, 17" alloys, etc etc. The power is class leading, and sitting this car against the competitors, leaves the Lexus RX 330 and Volkswagen Tourag the only ones close, and that includes the Mercedes ML, the BMW X5 and the Audi. Again, only my opinion.
Just drove in a friend's parents one the other day - all i have to say is WOW. when its cruising along it feels as smooth as silk and then when you put your foot down...BANG... you're outta there. I don't know what is better, the black leather interior, or the engine .
my future father in law owns one and I am lucky enough to drive it very often.
this car is just amazing. very powerful and very quiet. the front seats are just brilliant!
what I would have liked to see is sat nav instead of the wasted digital display. Also the 3rd row is trimmed in vinyl and not leather. whats up with that?!
the new MDX in the US has a few really cool changes. the middle row is now adjustable and their are HIDs headlights and nicer looking tailights. Very cool indeed
